APRIL 16 | BLACK SATURDAY

This year is the third year we have celebrated Black Saturday in our home. I am sure this will be a time of family and reflection for you.

STAYING AT HOME.

Black Saturday is the day when you are allowed to rest. It is a time to stay home, hang out with your family and friends, and merely enjoy the moment you are in.

That’s the essence of Black Saturday, a religious holiday that commemorates the day that Jesus Christ’s body lay in the tomb before he rose from the dead.

The holiday is celebrated in many Christian denominations, but it is most associated with Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity. Black Saturday marks the end of the Lenten season, which begins on Palm Sunday and culminates with Easter Sunday.

So, take a moment, take a deep breath, and think about what this important time of year means to you.

If you cannot decide what to do on Black Saturday, do not worry. We can help you!

Here at ROC.PH, we look at Black Saturday as the day to do what you feel like doing. And the best way to do that is to gather around a good meal and watch some great movies.

Watch movies and eat popcorn with your cousins or play games like Mahjongg with your grandparents. You can also watch your favorite shows on TV while eating Hot Cross Buns or going out for a burger with friends! The possibilities are endless!

Whatever you do on Black Saturday, we hope that wherever you are, whoever you are with, and whatever you are doing – it’s all you love!

And please note that ROC.PH will not be in operation today, April 16, 2022, on the occasion of Black Saturday. We will resume our operations on the next business day, April 18, 2022, Monday, and continue our business with you.
