Honoring Courage, Celebrating Unity: As we commemorate the Day of Valor on April 9, 2024, under Proclamation 368, we pay homage to the unwavering bravery and sacrifices of our Filipino heroes who fought for our nation’s freedom during World War II. Their valor inspires us to stand strong in the face of adversity and to uphold the values of courage and resilience.

Following this day of remembrance, we embrace the joyous celebration of Eid’l Fitr on April 10, 2024, as declared by Proclamation 514. This holiday marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting and spiritual reflection for our Muslim brothers and sisters. It symbolizes unity, compassion, and gratitude for the blessings bestowed upon us.

Together, let us honor the past and celebrate the present, embracing diversity and unity as we commemorate these significant holidays. May the spirit of valor and the bonds of community guide us forward as we continue to build a brighter future for all.
