No Operations on April 6-10 due to Holy Week 2023 Holiday Announcement

Dear Employees, Partners, and Clients,

We hope this message finds you well. As we approach the upcoming Holy Week, we would like to inform you of our company’s holiday schedule.

Our office will be closed from April 6 to April 10, 2023, in observance of the Holy Week. During this time, all employees are encouraged to take the opportunity to spend time with their families, practice their religious beliefs, and rest and rejuvenate.

Please note that this holiday period includes Maundy Thursday (April 6), Good Friday (April 7), Black Saturday (April 8), and Easter Sunday (April 9). We understand that these days hold special significance for many of our employees, partners, and clients, and we want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to observe these occasions.

April 10 is declared as the Day of Valor in the Philippines, as per Marcos’ Proclamation No. 90.” The Day of Valor commemorates the heroism and sacrifices of Filipino soldiers during World War II, particularly the Battle of Bataan in 1942. It is a national holiday in the Philippines to honor the bravery and resilience of the Filipino soldiers who fought for the country’s freedom. Let us remember and honor their sacrifice on this day.

Note: Please note that Proclamation No. 90 was issued by former President Ferdinand Marcos on April 9, 1969, declaring April 9 as “Bataan Day.” However, in 1987, President Corazon Aquino signed Proclamation No. 466, changing the name of the holiday to “Araw ng Kagitingan” (Day of Valor) and moving the commemoration to April 10, the day when the Bataan Peninsula was finally surrendered to the Japanese forces. It is now officially known as the Day of Valor in the Philippines. So the statement would be as follows:

April 10 is declared as the Day of Valor in the Philippines, as per Proclamation No. 466 signed by President Corazon Aquino in 1987. The Day of Valor commemorates the heroism and sacrifices of Filipino soldiers during World War II, particularly the Battle of Bataan in 1942. It is a national holiday in the Philippines to honor the bravery and resilience of the Filipino soldiers who fought for the country’s freedom. Let us remember and honor their sacrifice on this day.

During the holiday closure, there will be limited access to company email, chat, mobile and phone lines, and responses may be delayed. However, our team will be monitoring urgent matters and will strive to respond promptly.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation for your continued support and cooperation. We hope that this holiday season brings you joy, peace, and a meaningful observance of the Holy Week.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to resuming normal operations on April 11, 2023.

Wishing you a blessed Holy Week,
