“Marketing Strategies for Startups: ROC.PH Inspires BSBA Students of Tarlac Agricultural University”

Gen. Trias, Cavite – On 14th of May 2022, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) invites ROC.PH for a talk highlighting Marketing Strategies for Startups. The CEO/Founder of ROC.PH, Mr. Ron Oliver Clarin, shares in-depth knowledge. From different universities, companies, and organizations, ROC.PH sets to be one of the leading startups in Digital Marketing. Known for its quality service, it is continuously enabling the environment for the establishment, development and sustainability of MSMEs.

Ms. Trixie Mae Dela Cruz and Ms. Robin Marie Lim hosted the webinar. To formally introduce the webinar, Dr. Jerome D. Soriano, the OJT Coordinator, gives an overwhelming Open Remarks on how pandemic opens revenue for businesses to adapt strategies to communicate products, face-to-face and virtual internship of BSBA Students of Tarlac Agricultural University.

Ms. Jalyn Garcia, an Intern of ROC.PH, introduce the speaker of the webinar, Mr. Ron Oliver Clarin. As a Founder/CEO, he shared his humble beginning on how milestones led him up to this point. In Year 2017, Mr. Ron started accepting clients from international to local. He is always receiving an invitation to share an aspiration for speaking events and talk. Apart from these, Mr. Ron highlights the importance and innovation of E-Commerce Transaction Activities from traditional old ways of process to innovated one, Web Development, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Marketing for E-Commerce, and Affiliate Marketing Program for E-Commerce. To give a short activity, BSBA students were given 15 mins. to execute or think of a business applying ‘4 Steps to E-Commerce.’ Afterwards, each group presented their work continuing with an interactive Open Forum.

“I came from a school that was very conservative. I didn’t know from the trials that I have from a young age, I’ve been exposed to Digital Marketing,” answered by the Founder/CEO of ROC.PH when asked what made him pursue this career. Most of the time, we are being open with great opportunities every time we encounter trials and error. “Look for the product that you’re planning. Check its market, ask your friends or relatives for feedback, make some questionnaire, and ready your marketing strategy plan,” he added as a piece of advice on what you should consider upon starting up a business.

The said webinar inspires young entrepreneur students to believe in their capabilities, and continue doing what they have started. Everyday, we are being faced with uncertainties, as what made us unbeatable. Just like Mr. Ron Oliver Clarin, at a very young age, he never thought about failure or what may come ahead once he took a risk.
