5. Legal Compliance and Risk Management

  • Data Privacy Compliance: Users must comply with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and, if applicable, GDPR (EU clients) and CCPA (California clients) in handling personal data.
  • Intellectual Property Rights: Users must ensure that all uploaded or shared content has proper licensing and does not infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or patents.
  • Liability Disclaimer: ROC.PH is not liable for user-generated content and reserves the right to remove content that violates this policy.
  • Cybersecurity Measures: Any hacking, phishing, or fraudulent activities will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement authorities.
  • Dispute Resolution: Any disputes related to service termination or AUP violations shall be resolved through arbitration or mediation before pursuing legal action. ROC.PH reserves the right to determine the jurisdiction of legal proceedings.
