Beware of Email Impersonation: Protecting Yourself from Online Scams

We’ve recently discovered a scam email impersonating our CEO & Founder, Ron Oliver Clarin, using a Gmail address ([email protected]) and targeting ROC.PH contacts and employees. The message asks for WhatsApp numbers under the pretense of needing help for a task.

This is a clear case of phishing—a deceptive attempt to trick individuals into sharing private contact details or taking harmful actions.

🔐 What to Watch Out For:

  • Emails from non-official domains claiming urgent tasks.
  • Messages requesting sensitive information or money.
  • Vague or out-of-context communication.

✅ How to Stay Safe:

  • Always verify the sender’s email address.
  • Don’t click links or provide information to unknown senders.
  • Contact the person or company through official channels.

At ROC.PH, your security is our priority. If you’ve received this message or something similar, please report it to us immediately via [email protected].

Stay vigilant and share this post to protect others!
