The spirit of entrepreneurship is alive in Tarlac!
On October 15, 2025, ROC.PH Founder & CEO Ron Oliver Clarin delivered an inspiring and highly interactive webinar titled “Youth Entrepreneurship: Turning Ideas into Real Businesses”, exclusively for PYAP Tarlac City beneficiaries.
What made this session powerful?
It wasn’t just theory—it was real, raw, and practical.
🔥 A Journey from Struggle to Success
Ron shared his personal story of becoming the head of the family at 18 after his parents’ bankruptcy.
He worked as a waiter at night, studied in the morning, and worked on his thesis in between—just to survive.
But that hardship sparked his entrepreneurial fire.
He discovered online freelancing in 2008, built skills without capital, and in 2019, he became part of the Young Entrepreneurs Program Batch 1, which helped him transition from freelancer to founder.
Today, he leads ROC.PH, serving over 1,500+ MSMEs nationwide, mentoring youth, and empowering communities.
His message to the youth:
“Your situation does not define your destination.”
