Startup Conference: ROC.PH Features as A Successful Startups in Calabarzon & MIMAROPA

Gen. Trias, Cavite – On 28th of April 2022, Startups Conference features ROC.PH as one of the successful startups in Calabarzon and MIMAROPA for its first day with the theme of “Shaping up the Future of Youths through Startups.

ROC.PH breakthrough stands among different Digital Marketing Agencies. This company starts from small steps and turns it into a big craft of accomplishments and expansion. From the longest year that ROC.PH supports micro businesses and small entrepreneurs, it has been given multiple awards and recognition from various events. Apart from its successes, it remains humbly dedicated to providing services to its customers.

Ms. Gemma Losloso hosted the Startup Conference. Whereas, Dir. Cheryl C. Ortega, the Regional Director, gives Welcome Remarks. Dir. Emmy Lou V. Delfin, the Director of DICT leaves a remarkable keynote that, “Your first big investment is your idea” pertaining to how apps innovated from startups and how these leading apps gain millions of users and subscribers. Followed by Dir. Emmy Lou V. Delfin is Mr. Jeehad Tanggol, the event’s first speaker, provided an overview of the Digital Startup and Acceleration program. Mr. Tanggol presented intervention points, mapping processes and start up activities. The event’s second speaker, Mr. Jigs Esguerra, a Batangas State University Professor, then gave a lecture introducing startups. From phases, to mindset, to innovation huddle and support services, Mr. Esquerra covered.

At this point, the program proceeded to introduce four invited guest startup founders, one of which is Mr. Ron Oliver Clarin, ROC.PH’s CEO/Founder, along with Mr. Patrick Aquino, founder of DeliveryYa, a delivery service first founded in Palawan, Mr. Joseph Amiel Camingalan, an electronics engineer who founded Hive Energy OPC, a solar energy company, and Lester Medoza, the founder of Farm Box, a social enterprise. Each of them shared their individual success stories for aspiring young startups.

Moreover, Mr. Ron Oliver Clarin, the CEO of ROC.PH shares how the company started, and how the virtual team metaverse works for Interns of K12 & College as presented on a short video. Different K12 & College interns of ROC.PH from different universities from all over the Philippines provided and highlighted their modern office-like experience through the presented digital workplace. The CEO aptly pointed out that the greatest challenge that the company faced was the chaos of COVID-19 Pandemic and how it motivates him as CEO/Founder to stand with commitment. When asked about the important values he has learned that he could share to students and aspiring startup founders, he responded with a short but straight forward answer, to never be afraid and to always put first your passion and commitment because things will happen in time.
